It must be. I think there are two people in this world, those who think they are cool, and those who have read "the Unbearable Lightness of Being," and know they are cool. I think in the last part of the twentieth century it was the defining book. Both philisophical and literally beautifull, it conveys a message that becomes continually more valid as time progresses, creating both ideas that stick in your head long after you read the novel and questions about how exactly you should go about living your life in the enlightened age.
